I went according to the size chart but it is not accurate. The skirt was way too big, and the material is suppose to be a cotton blend but feels cheap like polyster/spandex blend. I am 5'5, and a size 2-4. Waist size 27, muscular but slender built. This skirt was swimming on me and bunched together( see pics). Most mermaid style skirts hug my curves, but this one was extremely unflattering accentuating my stomach and flattening my backside.
