I purchased this safe about 6 months ago to protect my important documents. After opening and closing a handful of times I could no longer get it open because the latch was stuck. The key worked great but the metal latch quit working. With a screw driver and a pair of pliers I had it open in about 5 minutes. The latch was made of metal but the mechanism that worked the latch was made of cheap plastic. Don't waste your money.
