I used the Ortho Home Defense spray (white bottle with the red spray nozzle) on my house this time last year, and had wonderful results. Now, the ants have returned as the do every year, and I wanted to give this spray a shot. My first observation is that when I sprayed the house (some areas were for prevention, and some areas already had some ants) I noticed that it did not kill ants upon contact. That was fine.. "maybe it would kill them later.?" However, even over the next few days I noticed there were still ants everywhere I had sprayed, where products I've used in the past have gotten ridden of the ants in about three days or less. This doesn't seem to have made a difference at all. Given that it has only been two days. I will wait a little longer before trying another product. I will update the review If I notice any useful changes.
