I ordered 2 $100 Visa gift cards and I'm beyond disappointed. When I received my cards I tried to use them and they both were declined. I also tried to check my balance through Visa and was told that Amazon canceled my cards so they were no longer activated (there was no answer to why they were deactivated.) After going back and forth Visa said that Amazon can only activate the card and then Amazon's customer service claimed they cannot activate the cards. After multiple hours on the phone, Amazon finally canceled both cards and refunded me through with an "Amazon gift card" linked to my account instead of refunding me through my original payment method (credit card) which was better than nothing at the time. Two weeks later Amazon re-ordered the Visa Gift cards and charged my credit card without my approval!! I had to call and tell them I didn't know why or how they re-ordered these Visa Gift cards for me and I demanded that they refund my money onto my credit card that they used without my consent and they finally did. Amazon and Visa made it very clear that their customer services don't work together to solve basic issues, it's disappointing as there was no direction and not even managers knew how to deal with their product or services and were not willing to contact each other. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with Visa and Amazons customer service. They need to figure out how to reactivate Visa Gift cards and how to work together as two businesses :(!!
