Doesn’t dry your nails
This is my third nail lamp from Amazon. The first was 36 watt, completely useless. Threw it away after a year of frustration. The second lamp was 84 watt, didn’t dry my nails properly, returned. This one was 120 watt, so I had some hope. HOPE WAS NOPE. Bought brand new gel polish and top coat for this experiment. Painted first coat. Used lamp to dry. Painted second and final polish coat. Used lamp. Then applied single top coat. Dried. STILL NOT DRY. Dried again. Still polish was thick and soft, not safe to go about your day without ruining the manicure. Did it one more time. Gave up. At a nail salon, this is a non issue. So either none of these lamps is truthful about the wattage included, or salons are using some crazy high wattage to dry your gel nails quick. Here’s a photo of the cracked and chipped off gel polish, just a couple of days after application. I’ll try ordering 1 more lamp, 15O watt. If that is trash too and wastes this much of my time, I’ll just order from a beauty supply company. Spending a whole hour on your nails for them to look atrocious is certainly not worth it.
