I originally gave this chair a 5 star review because I thought it was an excellent value, it was comfortable, and it didn't take up a lot of room. However, in less than a year, whatever holds the seat foam in place has failed, and the foam has dropped into the same area the reclining mechanism occupies so the chair no longer reclines, plus, because of that, I had to add a pillow to to keep my seat height acceptable. For occasional use, this chair is probably ok, but the emphasis is seriously on "occasional." I would not recommend this chair as a full time recliner. I'll try to squeeze out one more year and then I'll be forced to replace the chair. Next time I'll buy something a lot sturdier.
