Solid evap cooler, though very loud as others have mentioned. This doesn't bother me personally. However, the water pump did fail 4 months in, so I'm not too confident in its reliability. Warranty and Customer Support are completely bogus , i.e. non-existing. I've emailed and submitted a warranty request replacement for the pump over half a dozen times, not a single reply. Their online system has no way of following up or tracking any of your previously submitted requests.
