We used this for a week. It really did seem to be working. Cut to this morning when I awoke at 4 AM to a horrible burning smell. I followed the smell to the diffuser which was plugged into an outlet behind our couch. I have never had a problem with this outlet. The diffuser was SMOKING and hot to the touch. It was also greasy and coated with the pheromone liquid. Thank GOD this was plugged in close enough for us to detect this issue. I am horrified to think of what could have happened had we not been there to immediately unplug it. I cannot detect any mistakes I made with setting it up and plugging it in. The outlet is also fine. I'm really upset because this really seemed to work, but also deeply disturbed by how dangerous this product may be.
