I was a little disappointed with the pad when it arrived, but I figured it would still do the job. My infant is starting to crawl, so I was hoping to add a little more cushion to the living room floor as he’s cruising around. I wasn’t going to return it or say anything, and just use it. So, we put the pad down in preparation for the arrival of our rug today and I just stepped on a piece of metal that was sticking out of the pad!!! The pointed metal shard was partially embedded into it. Now my foot is bleeding out of the little puncture wound, and I don’t know if I should throw this whole thing away and consider it a loss, or put the rug down and pray there aren’t more metal shards in there scratching up my wood floor. FRUSTRATING AND DANGEROUS!!!
