Blown away by the quality vs the price. Buy these before they figure out what they are giving away. I have a set of mitutoyo 8" and actually prefer the design and feel of these calipers. I've been a machinist for over 20 years and did my best to find the flaws. I can't find anything I don't like about them. Crisp sharp ground edges all over these calipers. Love the battery style and location and they are smooth as silk right out of the box. Auto power off? Maybe but I just leave all mine on all the time....find the batteries last so long it's kind of a non issue. Update...if you live in a humid area or work in a swamp cooled shop these are just about worthless...I have sweaty hands and if you hold them in one place for too long they go crazy where your hand has been. It's a shame because the overall quality is great as I stated before. Not sure what ip54 means but for moisture tolerance I give these one star. I wish I had come back to fix this review sooner.....
