I recently remodeled my bathroom and ordered this cabinet because I liked the way it matched the wainscoting on the walls and vanity. However, when the unit arrived, I was VERY disappointed to find out that the front and back of this cabinet is made out of cardboard! Since this will hang in a bathroom where there is a lot of moisture, I doubt this cabinet will last very long. It is already starting to show some signs of bowing. I checked the Amazon site where I ordered it from, and it did not say anywhere that there were cardboard parts. If I had time to return it, I definitely would have, but my contractors offered to put it together and hang it up for me before I realized about the cardboard. If you are going to use cardboard parts, this should be explained in the product description. I have purchased other items from the Sauder company before and have been satisfied. However, I am not satisfied with this cabinet.
