I bought the scale on Amazon prime day. I was moving the scale into position when the edge made light, reasonable contact with the toilet. The scales tempered glass "exploded" sending shards of glass in all directions... not ideal with bare feet. This kind of damage is understandable if dropped or kicked, but this was, in my opinion, normal contact. If the glass is under that much tension, and the edge is that sensitive, they need to put some protection around the edge. Since I am out of return period for Amazon, I contacted Withings and they offered a 25% off coupon. No thanks.
