I've been taking SAM-E for several years and since it's somewhat pricey, I decided to give the Doctor's brand a try. I was disappointed, it did not provide results anything near what NatureMade's does or NSI's SAM-E. Of the other two, I'd say NatureMade's does the best job for me. I feel a greater sense of well-being emotionally, feel less crabby is another way of putting it. I also notice when I take NatureMade's brand that I have vivid dreams. Those certainly aren't an objective of my taking SAM-E, but for me that's another sign that this product is actually getting in there and having an effect on me mentally. As with any type of over-the-counter product, what works for some may or may not work for you. So, brand by brand experiences may vary.
