This seller provided product in small baggies with NO organic labeling. When I pointed this out she said she splits out the bulk packing and has not found any organic labels to her liking to attach. Since it would be illegal to label something organic that is not ,this rose my suspicions, so I thought up a simple way for her to verify that the product was in fact organic - but she could not comply. While she offered a refund, the price of shipping it back would be higher than the cost so it's not worth it. I have worked at farmer's markets and have seen too many unsuspecting customers be told "oh we're not organic yet but we are working toward it" -- taking the sale away from certified organic growers while not providing one iota of proof that they are integrated farming working toward organic. UNLESS SOMEONE PROVIDES THE PAPERWORK TO PROVE THAT SOMETHING IS ORGANIC OR IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING CERTIFIED, THEN DO NOT BELIEVE THEM, AS THEY ARE LIKELY CONNING YOU BY PROFITING FROM YOUR GOOD WILL, while pawning off a non-organic product as organic. Words are a dime a dozen, the proof is in the paperwork people - so ALWAYS avoid sellers who can not provide it.
