Lead & source of tumeric A Stanfrod U. study indicates that lead chromate is used by some to color their tumeric, which is a very disturbing finding & completely unethical and dangerous. You can search for that study using the key words lead chromate. I inquired twice of Youtheory to let me know their sources of tumeric. They did not respond. Any manufacturer that will not tell us whether their product might be dangerous is not trustworthy. It is problematic that supplements we rely on for health benefits may themselves be hazardous. Sourcing is critical to know and Youtheory should provide that on the label (as well as testing to verify the absence of contaminants).
