After taking my time with this product to write a review I feel like I was a victim of a marketing scheme. This is far from a "Fryer" in any way and is really nothing more than a toaster oven with a fan. I have tried a number of things from fries to coconut shrimp to chimichangas, and I have to say it just bakes everything like a regular toaster oven would. Really nothing special here. Where my disappointment comes from is how they call it a "fryer" when it does a horrible job of frying anything and really just bakes things. in the picture below you see how the french fries have turned out. they are not crispy and or evenly golden. very much baked not fried.
