Bought this bike in December 2013. Easy to assemble, easy to fold up and get out of the way. My wife uses it every day, or should I say "used it every day". After about 3 months the right pedal came off. I determined the thread on the crank was slowly being eaten away by the pedal which apparently is harder steel than the crank. I called the company and the voicemail told me to leave a message and that someone would get back to me within 2 days. Never heard back. I put the pedal back on and over time it fell off a few more times. Every time I'd just remount it. Just last week (2 weeks out of warranty, mind you!) the pedal finally fell out of the crank for the last time, the thread is now totally stripped. They do sell parts, and I can easily replace the crank myself. I called the company again 5 days ago and also sent a followup email, with a scan of my Amazon purchase receipt. Still .... no call, no email - nothing. So, yes, nice bike but not if you use it every day. Cheap and you get what you pay for. If you don't use it every day like my wife does (an hour a day), it'll probably last a bit longer. What I'm most peeved about is the company not standing behind its products and obviously not caring about its customers. If you're telling me to leave a message and then don't get back to me in the time you said you would... that just means I won't buy your products again and I will tell others about my experience. I'm still holding out hope someone from the company might get back to me so I can buy a new crank. If not, I'll have to buy another brand and this one goes to the metal recycler. Maybe I'll get $5 for it. :(
