★★☆☆☆
This book needs work.
Oh my. I like the setting in Maine, like what is attempted, appreciate the information about ovarian cancer. Problem: This book needs a lot more work. This is essentially a psychological drama and there were times I was simply tired and irritated by Anna's emotions bouncing all over. It was as though she was still 14. One example of immature reactions: Several times she thinks she may have split with Andrew because of her father's negative view of him; this doesn't make sense because for years she has reacted against her father in every way. Editing!! Oh my goodness. Please: missing articles, "your" for "you're", "alter" for "altar", "threw" for "through"...etc.
