As others have reported, the clock had problems pairing with my Gen1 (original) Echo, which has current firmware. It paired properly with our Gen2 Dots. But the old Echo is in the kitchen, where the clock needs to be, so that’s a non-starter for us ****Then I read in the online help that the clock’s timer functionality is disabled when the paired Echo is operating as part of a group to play music. That’s functionality I’m not willing to give up, especially when I’m cooking. That this shortcoming is not disclosed in the promotional material borders on unethical marketing, IMO. ***So it’s a $30 wall clock that seems like it will be hard to keep clean, and that really offers nothing to our household. Easy decision to return it.
