The display, feeder button, heating mechanism, temperature settings, back-up button, and motor are all operational, but the pen doesn't extrude the ABS plastic included. No matter which troubleshooting method we tried the the pen did not extrude at all. Believe me we tried them all. Then we gave up because it was Christmas day and had better things to do than troubleshoot a faulty Christmas present. The manufacturer included a warning flier inside the instruction manual that reads, "STOP! Before you return this product blah, blah, blah..." Should have been a red flag.
