I got these from my trusted veterinarian who felt they were a miracle product, but my experience with my two Cairn Terriers was awful and people should know about the risks. I definitely will not attempt these again: 1. My older dog immediately got the chew seriously stuck in her teeth. I finally got it out and she did it again. After trying several times, I just threw what was left away because it just wasn't working. 2. My younger dog had a lot of trouble chewing as well and apparently swallowed a huge part of the chew while I was wrestling with my older dog to keep her from choking. See #3 for how I knew he swallowed so much. 3. The next day both had bad green diarrhea, the pup had a huge firm piece of the chew along with the diarrhea which lasted all day. The older dog just had lots of green diarrhea. To summarize, not at all a good experience. Definite risk of choking, digestive problems. Really disappointed but more horrified that this is on the market and endorsed by veterinarians. Possibly it works for much larger dogs, but please be very careful and attentive if you plan to try these with a smaller dog.
