I bought this radiator for the temperature feature to heat our small cabin on our sailboat. I thought you could set it to any temperature and it would maintain close to that temperatures. I found that you could only select one of four temps, 65, 70, 75, or 80 degrees. Oh well, I thought, 65 is fairly comfortable, so I set it to 65 and went to bed. I woke in the night sweating like a pig and wondered what the deal was. Since it was the middle of the night, I just changed it to low. An hour later and I was still sweating, so I turned it off. In the morning I read the instructions and it appears that it never shuts off! The "energy saver" temperature setting only chooses between Hi or Low, it never shuts the unit off!!! So I donated this one and bought a cheap non-temperature thermostat model that was on sale at the local store. At least it turns off completely when the room reaches the click set on the dial and I can experiment for the right temperature.
