Can't identify the plants from pictures.
I really wanted a good book on edible wild plants. Unfortunately this is not it. You really can't identify plants from the pictures. Many are unclear and very poorly composed and others are pictures of the plants that only show one part. Some (few) are actually in black and white!! I looked up several plants that I can easily identify - for example I pick cranberries every fall. I would not have been able to identify them from the pictures. I gave it to my wife to look at and she said the same thing. Many of the descriptions do not have the map showing where you can find the plants. You have try to find the distribution map in the front of the book. A really good part is that the last line of the description lists 'poisonous look-alikes'. Very handy if you can identify the plant. I shall return the book.
