Outlook 2016 crashes frequently, causing one to lose the email you are writing at the time. There are many reports of this on the web and no response to date from Microsoft. Shame on Microsoft for selling a final release which still should be in beta testing. EDIT: Solution was to upgrade the OS from Win7 to Win10. Compatibility problems exist with Windows 7. EDIT2: Actually Outlook continued to crash under Win10. I ended up using a previous Outlook version. You can't uninstall just one program in this suite, so it's all or nothing. I would suggest buying the cheaper Office 2016 version that does not contain Outlook.
