Should've read negative reviews and avoid this company
Orderd a tree for the first time in my life. After searching lots of trees I invested $500 on Balsam Hill's tree hoping it lasts for years. Received the tree on 12/22 night and this morning (Christmas eve) lights on the top section stopped working. Contacted customer service by chat and they let me do troubleshooting for more than an hour. Asked for return and they told me I must return it within today otherwise it could be rejected. Even for the defective item that broke in 3 days!!! I wasn't sure if I could make FeDex pick up... but they just said it's the policy. I didn't want to go through this anymore so I just asked for a replacement part (because this Christmas is ruined either way, I decided to go with imperfect tree than no tree at all). The Christmas tree I bought on my baby's birth year is imperfect on Christmas Day and has not really a lovely memory. Thanks to Balsam Hill!! Who'd ever imagine a $500 tree breaks in 3 days and most of all the company like this provide such unhelpful customer service:(
