I should have foreseen this, to be honest, but these coasters serve practically no purpose because the condensation that forms on your glassware merely collects on the surface of the coaster. Eventually, it builds up so much that it spills over the edge of the coaster, getting the surface of whatever your drink rests upon wet. Plus, the coasters are very light, so the water buildup under the glassware causes it to stick to the glass when you pick it up. The only redeeming qualities about this item are the sleek, minimal aesthetic and the nonslip bottom. Unless you just want to look at these coasters and not use them for any functional purpose, I do not recommend.
