I wish there was a negative star rating! First, let me tell you I already own two of these mattresses, so, I really do, ultimately like them. That said, when I received this most recent one, it smelled like mold. I know they say there is "a smell" and you just have to air it out for a couple days, but that is not what this smell was - it was mold. I am allergic to mold. My apartment smelled so bad after the first day that I, still wanting to give it the 'couple-day-air-out' try, got one of those plastic zip covers. It did nothing. I used febreze and powders, even a vacuum-able carpet, mold-smell remover and nothing worked. I had to remove the item from my house. Now, let me also say that Amazon was amazing and refunded me all my money. However, the manufacturer, Zinus, has the worst customer service ever! On their website, it says to contact them if you have a compressed mattress to return as there are special return procedures. So, I called them and the woman was so rude to me on the phone by the time the call was over (and by over, I mean, when I almost broke my phone slamming it on my desk), I was ready to call the BBB. As said, Amazon was great, as there is apparently no way to recompress a mattress and return it. All said, I would never buy another one even though I love the two that I have, but this experience has made it definitely not worth it.
