I have owned three of these ice eliminators and they only last for about one Full winter season. The order dates for the last two units or February 26, 2012, and October 29, 2013, the picture of the ice in the birdbath is with the last unit buried in the ice after starting it up this year. If this unit is that disposable the seller should price these at about four dollars per unit.
