Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I used this router for 15-20 minutes the day it arrived, and then put it aside. I picked it up today and the collet broke within 15 minutes of use. Unfortunately, it's just outside the return period so it looks like I'm stuck with the router and will need to order a replacement collet. It seems Dewalt has some serious quality control issues these days and is becoming on par with their parent brand, Black and Decker. UPDATE: To anyone reading the comment from "Tabitha" at "DEWALT Customer Care", who is wondering what the outcome of that exchange was: nothing, nada, zilch. I emailed Tabitha back, only to have her refer me to another customer support person. That person made me jump through various hoops (providing the serial number, receipt, etc.) even though I'm already tagged as a "Verified Purchase" on Amazon for this router and nearly $1,000 worth of Dewalt tools over the past 3 months. After all that, the person told me to contact the local Dewalt service center, and they "might" be able to help me. So it appears that Dewalt simply employs people to troll Amazon, posting comments to make them look responsive, but doesn't bother actually fixing any issues. Thanks for nothing, Dewalt!
