I don't want to go full Karen but this was a birthday present for my son. He has special needs and LOVES bubbles - it's one of the only toys he'll go for time after time. This of course was the first present we opened - and there were no bubbles. The look on his face is still making me want to cry. :( Stuff happens, I get that, but this was obviously no quality control, since half of what was supposed to come just didn't. It was all in a closed box so I hadn't opened it until his birthday. He wanted to make the best of it anyway and was trying to put the tubes into his jar of bubbles (that we had at home). And...it didn't work, even with bubbles in it. So even if the bubbles had come, it would have been a broken toy. So sad. I won't lie. I'm mad about this (if you couldn't tell). Grownups can deal with broken stuff and returns. When you wait all year for your birthday to come around, get super-excited and then get let down, that's not cool. Children's toys should definitely be QC'd...this wasn't a tiny mistake. Literally, the box was half-empty of its contents.
