Bought it because of the look. Seemed like a great idea . . . looks nice on counter . . perfect toast shoots out . . . what's NOT to love? Everything but the look. Only bread it toasts with some consistency is regular, generic sliced store-bought. Italian bread, French bread, artisan bread, bagels, English muffins . . . forget about it. Bread sticks in toaster . . . you have to unplug it and dig it out with a knife to get it. Tried to work with it . . . but today at breakfast, just couldn't take it anymore. Our $10 discount store toaster at work performs rings around this piece of you-know-what. Ordering another today . . . from Amazon, of course (not their fault). Just want you folks to think twice before ordering this item. Maybe the manufacturer will make improvements based on my and other negative reviews.
