***Update*** I took away 1 star for shady business. On the reviews it looks like someone from this company who is not a "verified purchase" but only an "Amazon customer" gave it 5 stars...the funny thing with that is the actual review was a copy and pasted review from the day before...so it's a 5 star rating with a copy and pasted negative review!! Lol.. I'm not one to cause trouble but this really bothers me when people are shady and lie. Thought you might want to know this before purchasing this product - I know I would!! (Original review below) I'm only giving it 2 stars because it LOOKS decent when put together, it really only deserves 1 star for the poor quality. My 40" tv is very light but honestly I don't trust this at all, will be replacing asap. It came out of the box with SO many flaws (scratches, cracks). The only reason I didn't attempt to return it is because of the hassle it would be and I needed a tv stand now. It says the top holds 50lbs..I highly doubt it. For the 40$ price range I paid it's ok as a stand, maybe even a small light tv, but had I known, I would have paid extra for better quality. And I can already tell you that if you do buy this, DON'T put anything wet on it, or anything that can scratch it. It's made of wood, yes, but the covering is like wood paper (not sure what you call it), I bought a coffee table of the same material and within weeks it was ruined. All in all not recommended. And I don't believe the "list price" of $89.99 ... I think they say that to make you think when it's $40-50 you're getting a bargain. (It worked on me). There's NO way this is worth $90!! Buyer beware!!
