70% Undisclosed Ingredients, Combustible. Safer to buy lemon eucalyptus oil itself
Label:
Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus 30%
Other Ingredients 70%
After calling 1-888-880-1181 and asking what these 'Other Ingredients' were or where one could find them,
I was told by a WPC Brands employee that:
"the other ingredients are proprietary and deemed safe by the EPA"
Buy the oil Lemon Eucalyptus 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oil - 30 ml
Lemon Eucalyptus Therapeutic Grade Essential
and make your own spray instead.
If people are putting this on their skin and absorbing it through the skin or by breathing vapors, shouldn't the ingredients be approved by the FDA also?
If the product is deemed safe, why the warnings about substantial but temporary eye injury, washing the product off the skin after use, not to use on children under 3 years old and not to store near heat or open flame?
Deet free? yes
Natural? no
Safe? no
Be wary when any product label touts the term "Free" like Sugar-Free or Fat-Free as the sugar or fat is replaced by chemical substitutes that are sometimes worse for you or, in the case of Repel Lemon Eucalyptus Natural Insect Repellent, not even disclosed.
Dear Amazon,
Please require accurate product descriptions.
If more than half of the ingredients of a product are not disclosed, customers should not be misled by a product description that only identifies a minority ingredient or by a product label that features the 30% ingredient with font size ten times bigger than the 70% unknown ingredients.
