Ultimately I returned this product as the terms on the monitoring service we’re not as expected. Lifeshield’s website advertised monitoring at a rate of $19.99 with the first month free and no contract. Upon unboxing the product and attempting to register, the only options that I was provided were $29.99 without a contract or $24.99 with a 36 month contract. I contacted LifeShield hoping to sign up for their service at the advertised rate online. After being bounced around from one representative to another, I was told I was ineligible for that rate as my purchase was made through Amazon. When asked if an exception could be made, I was told the only option was to return my previously purchased set and repurchased through the LifeShield website directly. Due to this response and the lack of clear information regarding pricing, I returned the entire system to begin searching for a better alternative.
