DO NOT BUY THIS!!! Read my entire review.. This really looks like it would be a great bed. I think it would be, except that the cross bars need to be about 1/4 to 1/2 inch longer. They BARELY fit so you have to be very careful or they fall out, and then you have no support. I got this for my 15 year old son. Something tells me the bars are going to be coming out of place every time he’s on the bed. I just got on long enough to put a sheet on, and a bar came out. The end piece came out, now I can’t get the bar back into place. Also, one of the end pieces for the bottom of the metal frame was out when I opened the package. It wasn’t even with the part it was supposed to be, it was wrapped in with a different part. It was bent when I opened it, and I don’t believe for a second that it happened during shipping. Everything is individually wrapped, and like I said, the end piece wasn’t even with the piece it went to. Other hat that, it was way easy to put together, I did it myself. There are numbers and pictures, I think my 6 year old could’ve put it together. I just wonder how it’s going to hold up when my 15 year old sleeps on it tonight. Update... it’s been 3 months, and as I suspected, the crossbars do not hold up. It’s falling apart, and now I have to get a new bed!!! Another update... we got this bed may 17th. Put it up that day. It is now September 5th...a whole 4 months later... the entire bed is falling apart!!!! My son is scared to even sit on it!
