I have had this collar a week. My dog wore this for a week going out and came back every time with fleas on her belly. I know this because I comb her thoroughly with a flea comb before I go out. Not only doesnt this work but it smells horribly and my dog will not eat if it is on her in the home (which was suggested -not just for going out) This is the second collar I have tried that does not work. Now the company says its bc the fleas are resistant. What worked on my other dog was making a spray consisting of essential oils, lemon (many recipes online), and spraying her before walking. No dog should have to wear something that smells so horribly. Update- The manufacturer wanted me to take down this negative review. They said they would credit me for the collar and send me shampoo. I got the shampoo but not the credit. I used the collar (not at night because the collar is so hard my dog can't sleep with it. since I wrote this review, aside from using flea shampoo (theirs yesterday) and still every time I go outside with my dog she comes back with at least 10 fleas. I am in no way wanting to ruin this companies business, but I need to give a truthful review, because I suspect that everyone that writes a negative review is told to take it down.
