This is a great idea that is crippled by a poor company.
I wanted to like this product. I purchased through kickstarter and waited a year for it to arrive.
The lock:
Pros: It works sometimes. I use the Android app and it does not reliably connect. Recent updates and improved it a bit but I can't be sure if the lock is going to connect or not so I still have to carry my key. It installs easily and can be removed and moved easily.
Cons: It doesn't work reliably. Maybe it is better on Apple but I would rather not get locked out of my house.
Many of the features like "open on knock" don't work or are absolutely unreliable. I feel like a beta tester which is not good for a lock on my house.
I was looking forward to giving scheduled access to different people but the access list is very basic. People are either allowed to enter or not. Removing and adding them back to the list is the only way to change access and isn't useful for recurrent access (like the house cleaners).
The real failure here is Candy House. They over-hyped the product, failed to deliver on time, ignored customer emails and complaints and are now selling this product here on Amazon when they have kickstarter backers from 2 years ago who have yet to receive their product. I can't endorse a company who cares so little for their customers. This is a promising product which is crippled by poor customer service and unrealized marketing promises. Get a reliable lock somewhere else or expect to carry your key.
