The magazine unit in Amazon is terrible
At the beginning of 2011, I subscribed to "Time" (half year weekly), "Entertainment" (1 year weekly) and "National Geographic" (1 year monthly) through Amazon.com
To my surprise, none of them come through smoothly.
The "time" and "entertainment" stopped delivering after I received my first several issues, and I have to notice them to active the service again, of course, it indicated another whole month of waiting. The reply from the amazon implied that I was not patient enough, as they stated in advance that customer would have to wait before the first issue would come.
Yes and No, because this is the second time I've been waiting for the magazine. Please allow me to write to you OK?
For the "National Geographic", I received both Feb. and Mar. issued at the end of Mar., then, nothing showed in my mailbox, even though I wrote to Amazon again and again and again. They told me that's because the usps can't recognize the address. Maybe, that's right. According to their logic. Seems like, when that address is on "NG", it's gonna be different from the same address on "time" or on "entertainment". (I've to say, I received Time and entertainment using the same address)
Finally, I lost my last little patience, and called off the subscription for that one.
I also removed all my credit card information from Amazon, thus no magazine would be auto-renewed by Amazon without letting me know.
Live better, avoid Amazon Magazine
That's my suggestion.
