STOP! Go for a walk, but don't click that 'purchase' button
I read a lot and have plowed through my share of stinkers, but this lowers the bar on anything I've ever opened.
The characters are thin, one-dimensional cut-outs with none you could possibly muster any feeling for. No spoiler alert, because I couldn't stomach turning another page. If all the characters end up being eaten by aliens and pooped into out space, then maybe there will have been a happy ending. I'll never know.
