This was great out of the box. I love the water tester which proved my tap water is actually pretty nasty. The box states what the general level of contaminates are in your water per state and also states that due to that variation, everyone will experience different lengths of time for the filters. It also tells you not to use the filter once the reading is 006. Fine I'm good with that. I started using this Saturday and by Thursday I was reading 006 and by Saturday it just has stopped filtering the water altogether and its just sitting in the basin. At this point the water tastes worse than my tap. So even if i was okay with drinking slightly higher readings-it won't let you. The filters last less than a week at $10 a piece. GARBAGE. Highly disappointed in this product.
