After less than 1 week's use to water my raised vegetable bed garden, every other day , the crimp ferrule on the male fitting failed. The fitting is now completely separate from the hose, with no way to reattach it (the ferrule prevents using a hose clamp). Thus, after less than 1 hour total use, the hose is trash. I've requested activation of the 1 year WARRANTY: it is like trying to move water in a tissue paper cup to work with the seller - something might eventually come of it, but I get the impression they are used to people accepting their offer of a "kit" (= 1 hose clamp) for self-repair of the hose rather than actually honoring the warranty. (Of course, a hose clamp can not be used without cutting off a part of the hose, because the brass ferrule is in the way). I am determined to get the warranty service, though, through if only through my sheer boneheaded stubbornness. I would not recommend this hose even had the fittings remained attached, as it kinks and twists worse than any hose I have ever worked with in 50 years of gardening.
