My son spends his most day at school directly under the sun, my husband loves to walk as his daily exercise. So, I thought this two fans set would be perfect option for our family. I read positive reviews and it made me excited to order this. I also read few negative reviews saying this fan isn't strong enough to cool down. But, I decided to pay more attention to positive reviews than negative ones. When I received this fan, I was thankful to find out I got a blue and gray set. (Since we can't pick specific colors, I was afraid to receive a pink and purple set like other reviews, I bought this for my son and husband). I excitedly inserted two AA batteries, and turned it on. At first, I thought I did something wrong. So, I took batteries out, and replaced with brand new batteries. But, that doesn't make much difference. I am very sorry to say this, but this is not a fan. I have a fan with water spray attached one from the same brand, I like that much better. If you are looking for fans to use under the sun, buy a fan with water spray attached one, but not this one. If you want to use this in air conditioned area, this fan will help cool air to flow. I did experiment with this fan. I tested to see whether this fan can blow out candle light. NOPE. I held this fan to a candle from a distance as a necklace one (the distance between a fan and your chin when you wear this as a necklace fan). This fan can't even blow candle light out. I hope it helps you to figure out the strength of this fan.
