BEWARE. Amazon renewed. Product was received with lots of scratches to screen. part of renew process is to HIDE damage. Screen was covered with a screen protector specifically designed to hide damage. It wasn’t the standard screen protector that stops in 8th inch or so from the edge of the screen. Instead it extended all the way to the edge of the screen and contain black bars at the top and bottom to cover up the area around the speaker and the button. Since you cannot normally buy these aftermarket, I have to include it in the design specifically for the purpose of hiding damage. Incidentally we also purchased an iPhone XR through Amazon renewed and it had a similar screen protector that went all the way to the edge with it blacked out over the areas where the screen would be black. In this case I put a regular clear screen by tactor on the phone and could not see any air bubbles or scratches through the screen protector so I decided to keep it. Just beware if you purchase one of these that you should remove the Amazon renewed screen protector it comes with and look closely underneath. You may decide that you want to utilize your 90 day return window and get a different phone.Besides this the phone seem to be in good condition with 90% battery life remaining and has worked flawlessly. Because of the blatant attempt to high damage, I am only giving two stars because it seems a bit underhanded.
