I really like the way this harness fits my deep chested Doberman and the blaze orange is nice and visible on dark evenings but I really hate that I have to check and adjust the shoulder straps constantly. I left my dog with a relative and neglected to point this issue out which resulted in the harness becoming too loose on a walk. To the relative's horror the dog shot out of the harness in a gleeful moment. To add to the excitement, the harness then caught on her collar and pulled it off over her pointy head, and off she ran naked as the day she was born. Luckily, she is a good girl and returned to be re-kitted. If this had happened in a busy area it could have ended in disaster. The harness had been properly adjusted two days before this incident and had become dangerously loose within the few hours she had worn it. Unacceptable. I will sew the straps to the right length when she is finished filing out but for cripes sake will someone make a harness with buckle adjustments already. Hello Manufacturers, we the dog owners of the world, would PAY MORE for a RELIABLE, SAFE PRODUCT.
