I want to Love it but...
I wanted to love this serum but I recently found out and do want to warn people that this serum actually DOES NOT CONTAIN any true Vitamin C as it advertises! A serum with true Vitamin C should have L-ascorbic acid which this does not. This serum is basically packed with citrus “oils”...not true Vitamin C. I do love that it smells great but it is a bit thick and can feel a bit sticky but it goes away. It does feel nice on the face. I might repurpose it’s use (maybe use as an essential oil) but if you’re looking for a true Vitamin C serum this is NOT it! Timeless Vitamin C ($25.95 w/20% Vit C) or Maelove Glowmaker ($27.95 w/15% Vit C) are really good and less expensive. Plus they have other great ingredients so you get more bang for your buck! Timeless has 5% more L-ascorbic acid. Here’s some info I received on good Vit C serums that also include other great ingredients and I’ve added prices according to the brand website and percentage of Vitamin C: The Best Vitamin C Serums, According to Dermatologists SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic (15%) ...pretty expensive $166 Maelove Glow Maker (15%). ...can get in a set w/2 other serums for $63.85 or buy it alone for $27.95 Revitalift Derm Intensives Vitamin C Serum by L'Oreal Paris (10%). ...$30 Drunk Elephant C-Firma™ Day Serum (15%). ...pretty expensive $80 Clinique Fresh Pressed 7-day System with Pure Vitamin C (10%)...can get in a set w/a night serum for $39.50 or buy it alone for $20 PCA Skin C&E Advanced Serum. (15-20%)...pretty expensive $110-$120 SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF (10%)...pretty expensive $166 Hope this helps...
