I purchased Synovi G3 120 count soft chews from Entirely Pets and there were wood chips in many of the chews. I've previously purchased Synovi from vets and also from Medi-Vet through Amazon with great success. My 3 dogs absolutely love the chews and they do help them a great deal. When I received the Entirely Pets order, at first my dogs ate them, but then they started refusing to eat them. I found wood chips twice in chews my dogs wouldn't eat but thought they came off my floor. Then I smashed a chew straight out of the container and it had several chunks of wood in it! Do NOT buy from this vendor. They've refused to take my calls or respond to this complaint. I still have contaminated chews left. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!!!!! Update Janary 2009: I contacted Synovi G3's manufacturer, IVX Animal Health and shipped them the remaining chews I had from Entirely Pets. They initiated a quality investigation and sent me a letter stating the following. "Inspection of the returned complaint samples showed some inconsistencies between the product you returned to us and the product in our current inventory. We believe that these inconsistencies may be related to the manner in which this product was purchased. IVX Animal Health recommends that our products be purchased ony through your veterinarian. IVX regrets any inconvenience this incident may have caused." In my conversation with the company, they told me that they do not sell directly to any of the companies who are selling on Amazon.
