I rarely one star a product but this one is very deserving. My setup began with a call to customer support which taught me how to reset the base unit (press and hold the sync/reset buttons for 10 seconds while the unit is powered on). This got me through the setup and into working cameras... yeah! Well they worked for about a day before both cameras completely stopped working. After several resets and another call to customer service we manged to completely frag my online account to the point where I had to setup a new account with an entirely new login but at least I was working again... yeah! Well they worked for about 30 minutes this time. Since then their website has gone offline numerous times and the cameras sometimes work but usually don't. I am currently waiting for the next level of support to help but I think the real problem is that their online system isn't ready for prime time. Everything local seems to be working properly (I can ping the base unit, everything is green, cameras can take snapshots) but anything that routes to their servers (the video portion) is a total crap shoot. After a few months they might get this mess working properly and then this system will be a nice niche product. Until then DO NOT BUY. Oh and I am a software developer specializing in network based apps with a lot of time served in IT hardware and protocol development. I know my way around a network and I rarely see such a buggy half baked product even in Betas.
