My son was so excited to get his first fishing pole. It looked great and quality looked solid. We put it together and made plans to go fishing the next day. My son was so happy he took it to his room. Within an hour, he comes back out and shows me that the next to last line holder is loose and the tip is fully extended and not able to retract. We go outside and try to cast the fishing line, without the line, hoping that might help; it didn't. The loose piece hit the last line holder and both flew into the sky...never to be seen again. It turns out that these line holders are held together by cheap glue and will come loose, sooner or later. In our case that happened very soon...within the hour, as I said. I can't say anything about the rest since we didn't even get to try it. What I can say is that, now I have a very disappointed child who is now thinking this is the end of the world as he knows it...till he gets a new fishing line, I hope.
