I'm only part-way into this book, and it already has too many unrelated story lines and characters to cope with. Dysfunctional family, botched inheritance, drug and alcohol addiction, secret debt, writer's block, helicopter parenting, the 9/11 attack, a stolen masterpiece, incipient lesbianism, and an angry policeman with a prosthetic arm. If I were to continue reading, I wouldn't be surprised to find a kitchen sink thrown in - it has everything else! Maybe it will all come together at the end, but I'll never know because I'm deleting it from my Kindle.
