I am giving this product a 1 star review for false advertisement. I have sensitive skin and acne. I was searching a moisturizer that would be right for my skin. This product was reviewed on another website, which claimed this product was appropriate for sensitive skin and for men with acne. I checked the product description and these claims were repeated by the seller. Satisfied, I ordered the product. I tried the product for a week and experienced painful burning and a marked increase in acne. I then checked the bottle and discovered two things: One, this product is full of oils. Two, this product contains one of the most painful astringents known to man: alcohol. This means the product is NOT appropriate for sensitive skin and NOT appropriate for people with acne. By definition! Seller, I hope you are reading this. There is a reason why different products are marketed to different skin types. You can't just claim your product is good for everyone and everything and throw in every buzz word under the sun in order to sell your product. These words mean something. You cannot claim that a product that contains a powerful astringent is appropriate for sensitive skin. Nor for users with acne, for whom acne medication is part of their skin care routine. Do you have any idea what happens when a person moisturizes with a product that contains an astringent after applying acne medication? It took almost two weeks for the swelling in my face to go down. Of course I take some responsibility for not reading the ingredient list--but I shouldn't have to assume that the seller is providing factually inaccurate information in their description. I hope you will change how you advertise this product, which is probably wonderful for the skin-types it is actually designed for. As for me, I lost money on a product I cannot use because your description contained falsehoods. I am especially angry and upset about this because your product was the first skincare product in a significantly higher price range that I've explored; it was quite an investment for someone at my income level. Please be more honest about what you are selling in the future.
